How to Play: Close to 100 Math Card Game
Step 1: Deal 6 cards to each player. Place the deck face-down (draw pile).
Step 2: Take turns. Use any four of your cards to make two 2-digit numbers. Try to make numbers that when added together give you a sum that is close to 100.
Write these two 2-digit numbers and their total on the score sheet.
For example, a 6 and a 5 could be 56 or 65.
Step 3: Find your score: The score for the round is the difference between the sum and 100.
For example: If your sum is 96, then your score for the round would be 4 since it is four away from 100.
Step 4: Put the four used cards in the discard pile and draw four new cards from the draw pile.
If you run out of cards before the end of the game, shuffle the discard pile and use those cards again.
Step 5: Five rounds make one game. After five rounds, total your score.
The player with the LOWEST score is the winner.
